Targeted Glutamine-Decorated Chitosan Nanoparticles with Enhanced Synergism of Chemotherapeutic and Natural Medicine for Hepatic Carcinoma Therapy

•Glutamine modified chitosan were prepared by condensation reaction to fabricated nanoparticle.•Glutamine addiction of tumor mediated the efficient tumor accumulation of glutamine-decorated nanoparticles.•Cellular abnormal glutamine metabolism mediated the cellular uptake and mitochondrial target of glutamine-decorated nanoparticles.•The combined doxorubicin and tetrandrine enhance the efficient of tumor synergistic therapy.
