Microspheres Modified with Superhydrophobic Non-Woven Fabric with High-Efficiency Oil-Water Separation: Controlled Water Content in PLA Solution

摘要
For environmental pollution, it is important to separate oil from water resulting from industrial wastewater and oil spillage. Therefore, exploring various environmentally friendly materials for oil-water separation is essential. Herein, microspheres modified with superhydrophobic non-woven fabrics with self-cleaning ability are fabricated through a simplified, green, and low-cost method. The optimal superhydrophobic fabric exhibits a water contact angle of 153 degrees and excellent separation efficiency, higher than 97% after ten cycles. Meanwhile, it shows an outstanding self-cleaning ability that makes it extremely promising for the treatment of oil pollution in practical applications.
