With the advent of computational-biology and bioinformatics, the domain of chemical biology has seen unprecedented growth. Opting for in silico modes of analysis for raw data has been a game-changer in many ways; bioprospecting is one such area. Amongst many types of bioprospecting, microbial bioprospecting is the one, which is most frequently explored and challenged. Microbial Bioprospecting has gained an accountable impetus in the last decade due to genome mining bioinformatics tools. These tools run complex algorithms and present output in the unified format.
