SISO Antenna Dedicated to Wide Band Full-Duplex MIMO Communications System

This paper presents a high isolated antenna sub-system intended to a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) wideband antenna system for 5G Full-Duplex communications band [3.4-3.8GHz]. The proposed sub-system antenna or SISO (Single Input Single Output) contains two element arrays (Tx and Rx) fed separately with two orthogonal polarizations. The challenge here is to obtain a high isolation level between the two ports on the whole bandwidth. The proposed antenna achieves a -10 dB reflection coefficient bandwidth going from 3.30 to 4.12 GHz with a minimum isolation level of 26 dB and maximum isolation value of 73 dB reached at the center frequency.
