Pseudo spin-ladder CaCu2O3 nanostructures as potential electrode material for asymmetric supercapacitors

摘要
•A pseudo spin-ladder CaCu2O3 nanostructure has been used as an electrode material.•The 2-leg ladder system CaCu2O3 displayed specific capacitance of 205.45 F g−1 at 1.5 A g−1.•The CaCu2O3 revealed an excellent cyclic stability (104%) even after 10000 continuous cycles.•Asymmetric supercapacitor device delivered the energy density of 11.8 Wh kg-1 at the power density of 362.5 W kg-1.
