摘要
•Dynamics of three ring-coupled double-well Duffing oscillators modelled by fractional-order differential equations is studied.•A route to chaos and hyperchaos from a stable equilibrium through a series of torus bifurcations is observed.•The existence of a rotating wave propagating along the ring of the coupled oscillators is confirmed.•The coexistence of attractors is revealed, depending on the fractional-order index and the coupling strength.
