摘要

•Few-layer bismuthene nanosheets were prepared by the liquid-phase-exfoliation method.•A Q-switched laser based on bismuthene nanosheets at 1.3 μm was firstly demonstrated.•The shortest pulse width of 361 ns was obtained with the 1.3 μm Q-switched laser.
