摘要
The performance test of High-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) RF conductive protectors in wireless communication systems is usually carried out by pulsed current injection (PCI) test method. The injection waveform is usually quite different from the coupling conducted waveform in the actual radiation environment, and how to choose the injected waveform depends on the working frequency band of the protected system, which will also affect our real evaluation of the performance of the protector. With two kinds of protectors with transient and combination type as the test objects, we have carried out a variety of waveforms such as square wave with different pulse width and double exponential wave as the injected waves in the PCI tests. Time-frequency domain analysis were made to compare injected current and residual current waves. Norm theory is used to analyze the current response characteristic and the merits of these two protectors are derived. Finally, the performance comparisons of these two protectors are finished according to multiple norms, which the method will be benefit for evaluating the protector performance.
