Analysis of distribution characteristics of underwater optical soliton received beam

In order to obtain the receiving beam with more concentrated energy distribution, Monte Carlo method was used to study the receiving beam distribution characteristics of optical solitons as light sources. According to the characteristics of the optical soliton pulse, the expression of the initial sampling radius of the optical soliton is deduced, and the beam expansion characteristics and optical power density of the two soliton and Gaussian pulse light sources are simulated and analyzed. The results show that the optical soliton's receiving beam has a higher power density than the Gaussian pulsed beam, and it performs better in underwater anti-scattering, which provides theoretical support for the design of underwater receivers and underwater positioning.
