Degradation of o-Phenylene Diamine by Glow Discharge Plasma Combined with Activated Carbon/H_2O_2

This paper reports the degradation of o-phenylene diamine in aqueous solution by glow discharge plasma combined with activated carbon and/or hydrogen peroxide.Some conditions such as pH and ferrous(ions) were also examined.The results show that the combined technology can increase the degradation of(ophenylene) diamine effectively and has some advantages in operation and cost.Thus,it may be used for wastewater treatment.
