Effect of NaCl Different Concentrations on Sugarbeet Growth

The effect of 2-280 mmol/L NaCl concentrations in Nutrition liquid on sugarbeet growth was studied. The results showed that there were no obvious effects on sugarbeet growth in the range of 0-10 mmol/L NaCl concentrations; but it can make some accelerating growth and development to sugarbeet about 50 mmol/L NaCl concentration; 100 mmol/L NaCl or more concentrations affect the growth of sugarbeet,the higher NaCl concentration,the greater influence to sugarbeet. In the range of 2-280 mmol/L NaCl concentrations,there were no obvious effects on photosynthesis of sugarbeet.
