摘要
AIM:To study the expression of survivin,a member of inhibitor of apoptosis protein family, and P21gene and their relationship with oral lichen planus(OLP) and oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). METHODS:Immunohistochemical technique S-P was used to detect the expression of survivin and P21 protein in 40 cases of OSCC,40 cases of OLP tissues and 26 cases of normal oral mucosa, and their relationship was analyzed. RESULTS:The expression of survivin and P21 were significantly different in normal oral mucosa,OLP and OSCC tissues (P0.05). The expressions of survivin and P21 showed a positive correlation in three types of tissues(rs=0.685). CONCLUSION:Survivin gene and P21 gene involve in the transformation of OLP to OSCC. Survivin gene and P21 gene are important in the development and progress of OSCC.
