摘要
Objective:To investigate the feasibility and indications of primary resection and anastomosis on acute left hemi-colon obstructions. Methods:Retrospective analysis were made on 81 patients with acute left hemi-colon obstruction who underwent primary resection and anastomosis from 2003 to 2008. Their perioperative complications and efficacy were evaluated. Results:All the 81 cases underwent primary resection and anastomosis successfully with no perioperative death and 3 anasmotic leakage. Overall complication rate was 55.6% between benign colon obstruction group and colon cancer group, including wound infection in 29 case(6 vs. 23) and intraperitoneal infection in 8 case(2 vs. 6),there was no significant difference between two groups. The colon cancer group has 3 anasmotic leakage and 5 local recurrence. Conclusions:Primary resection and anastomosis is safe and feasible on acute left hemi-colon obstruction.
