Breeding for Elite Export Groundnut Cultivar Colour 006-38

New peanut cultivar Color 006-38 was bred with radiation mutagenesis technology by Hunan Agricultural University.It has outstanding characteristics: 1) elite outward appearance quality and food taste quality,such as beautiful pod,bright-coloured testa,higher rate,fragrant,sweet and soft taste.2) the oleic acid to linoleic acid ratio(O/L) amounts to 1.28,means long shelf life.3) synthetical resistance is strong,with high acid resistance,bear to barren or waterlogging land,high resistance to leaf spot disease and rust disease,middle resistance to Leptosphaerulira crussiasa(Sechet),light Corticium rolfsii Saccardo.4) stable high yielding.It amounted 3897.2 kg/hm2 pod yield,higher than contrasting cultivar Qiyangxiaozi by 18.3% in Hunan provincial peanut cultivar regional trial.
