Digital preservation of rhythmic features using BioKin sensor platform

This paper focuses on an innovative method for capturing motion data of biomechanical systems to digitally preserve their intrinsic rhythmic features. Biokin-Mobi sensor setup, designed to capture three-dimensional motion patterns, is employed to capture motion data of specialists from various disciplines. The captured velocity data will be used to investigate the most critical aspects of motion. Results will be used to identify and preserve these vital aspects for future generations for instructional purposes. Methodology shows the effectiveness of the proposed setup in identifying the key parameters to be addressed. To demonstrate, data from UAE traditional dancers and professional golfers are taken as two case studies.
