Harmonic/Inter-harmonic Estimation: Key Issues and Challenges

Due to increased use of modern power electronics, harmonics/interharmonics are growing rapidly in power system. This demands for an accurate and fast estimation techniques. There exist several parametric and non-parametric methods, which are used for estimation. This paper presents the detailed reviews of harmonic/inter-harmonic estimation techniques for a signal. This paper also covers different approaches that several researchers have employed to overcome the limitations of conventional methods. This paper will be a guideline for researchers and industry people working in the area of power quality.
