摘要
Described are the collections of almost fifty years of history: Spiders (Araneae) of Poland, Skulls of mammals in northeastern Poland and the Gorce Mountains and Vascular plants of northeastern Poland - herbarium specimens, held at the Faculty of Biology and the Andrzej Myrcha University Center for Life Sciences in Bialystok. The collections are currently being digitized as part of the IMBIO project realized at the University of Bialystok. They include many unique and rare species in Poland. Based on the information contained in these collections, many publications and diploma theses, as well as various expert opinions have been created. The collected specimens are taxonomically diverse and provide the basis for the dredging scientific knowledge and popularizing information about the flora and fauna of north-eastern Poland, with valuable natural areas, such as: Bialowieza National Park, Biebrza National Park or Knyszynska Forest.
