Research on The Construction of Hangzhou Power Economic Climate Index Model

There is a certain correlation between power consumption and economic development. Taking into account the timeliness of power data releases and the accuracy of the data, this study builds a power economic climate index model that can reflect the economic operation of Hangzhou based on indicators for electric power and economic indicators. And macroeconomic characterization variables are used to verify the index model constructed. The result shows that the power economic climate index model is consistent with the macroeconomic operation, in a sense, the power economic climate index model is effective. Moreover, the power economic climate index model will help to evaluate the development level of industries and regions from the perspective of the economy more comprehensively, and is of great significance of discovering uneven development and power planning.
