摘要
•The removal performance of process declined with gradually changing from NO3– to NO2–.•Conversion percentage of S0 was up to 90.49 ± 2.64% with changing from NO3– to NO2–.•A simulation model was established to reveal contributions of reduced NO3– to NO2– separately.•Sulfurovum and Sulfurimonas were the dominant genera in all phases.
