Ultrasound Triggered ZnO-Based Devices In article number 2101021, Marco Carofiglio, Valentina Cauda, and co-workers report the development of ZnO-based smart films that can be tuned in terms of surface properties with organic layers to play different roles in biomedicine. The final device can be activated by ultrasound stimulation to induce an electric potential to biological entities or to generate reactive oxygen species that can be exploited in sonodynamics or for antimicrobial purposes.
