Simulation of Resident Demand Response Considering User Response Uncertainty

Residential load in the smart grid is a kind of potential demand response (DR) resource. The parameters under a given distribution law can be determined by parameter estimation methods. The information in the dataset including load curves, historical participation characteristics, and historical response capabilities of DR events is used as the basis for modeling. Simulation resident users are generated according to the distribution rules to simulate resident load characteristics and their behavior in DR event. This article uses simulated users as the object to simulate a DR event with specific conditions. The simulation obtains the maximum potential of a certain number of resident users.
