Research for Field Strength Measuring Experience of Low-Frequency Time-Code Timing Signal

The field strength of low-frequency time-code timing signal can describe the strength information of the signal in space directly and is the most important parameter of low-frequency time-code timing system coverage area and communication effectiveness assessment also. Therefore, the high precision of field strength measurement becomes premise and necessary condition of signal monitoring technology development and performance evaluation research of low-frequency time-code timing system. The paper is optimizing of the existing low-frequency time-code timing signal measurement theory, researching the measurement method of low-frequency time-code timing signal, setting up the low-frequency time-code timing signal measurement system for the high precision measurement of field strength, processing the measurement data and analysis the measurement result, providing actual testing data to support the quality of signal service and analysis assessment research for the low-frequency time-code timing system. The result shows that the mean value of field strength measurement error is 0.33 dBμv/m, meets the actual needs of the engineering completely.
