Investigation and Assessment of TCAD-Based Modeled and Simulated PPV/PCBM Bulk Heterojunction Solar Cells

This paper describes the Design of device structure and assessment of both the properties (optical and electrical) of organic solar cells to further enhance their power conversion efficiency. It basically presents simulation of electrical and optical characteristics of polymer (donor)/fullerene based organic materials and PPV/ PCBM bulk heterojunction PV cells devices and extraction of figures of merits like Ƞ, Voc, Isc, and fill factor.
