摘要

•BMS was the most common stent type used in cancer patients undergoing PCI.•Higher incidence of stent thrombosis was noted among cancer patients with DES compared to BMS.•No increased mortality was noted among cancer patients with DES placement compared to BMS.•AKI, bleeding complications, and length of hospitalization remained comparable between the two groups.
