摘要
The process of computing based on "degrees of truth", the generalization of a real number which is a connected set of possible values rather than a exact value. Thus the interval valued pentadecagonal fuzzy number is illustrated and the fault tree analysis is used to determine the malfunctioning of lathe machine. Defuzzication process is used here to convert the numbers in crisp value. Here we use this technique to find the failure mode effect and criticality analysis of ineffectual lathe machine.
