Transmission of pig diseases and biosecurity in pig production.

Abstract This chapter reviews the routes of direct and indirect transmission of the most common pig diseases and translated into biosecurity measures. These measures might help in preventing infectious agents from moving between and within pig farms via these routes. This chapter likewise presents guidelines on the external and internal biosecurity measures in pig production.
