摘要
Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (ccTGA) is an uncommon lesion with a prevalence of approximately 0.03/1000 live births. In this condition, there is both atrioventricular and ventriculoarterial discordance which results in physiologically corrected blood flow. It is commonly associated with other cardiovascular anomalies; although extracardiac and chromosomal anomalies are less common. Many cases are discovered incidentally in adulthood, and while mid-term outcomes are favorable, outcomes of surgical repair continue to evolve. Lifelong follow-up is advised both in view of long-term complications such as tricuspid regurgitation and right ventricular dysfunction but also due to increased risk of complete heart block.
