•Many genetic loci are associated with individual Cardiometabolic traits, but few if any show associations across all traits.•Hundreds of loci were associated with each of seven cardiometabolic traits in the UK Biobank.•Only four loci in/near VEGFA, GRB14-COBLL1, KLF14, and RGS19-OPRL1 were significantly associated with all seven cardiometabolic traits.
