Symptomatic presentation and cognitive performance in autopsy-confirmed, limbic-predominant, age-related TDP-43 encephalopathy with comorbid Alzheimer's disease.

In this sample, LATE-NC was a very common comorbidity with ADNC, affecting over 1/3 of subjects. The co-occurrence of LATE-NC with ADNC may be distinguishable from ADNC alone through changes in behavior and cognitive performance. Although the specific features changed across the ADNC spectrum, the presence of LATE-NC was highly impactful clinically at all stages of ADNC severity.
