Effect of desmopressin acetate on acute spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage in patients on antiplatelet therapy

•Antiplatelet medications prior to intracranial hemorrhages (ICH) have been associated with worse outcomes including death.•There is limited guidance for management of antiplatelet-associated ICH.•Desmopressin acetate is an intervention considered for antiplatelet-associated ICH despite limited evidence.•Desmopressin acetate was not associated with significant risk or any therapeutic benefit in antiplatelet-associated ICH.
