摘要
•Skin laser Doppler can be used to measure skin blood flow and microcirculatory function.•Skin blood flow (SBF) increased after fluid challenge in patients with shock.•Skin microcirculatory function, assessed by TCT, increased only in VO2 responders.•Baseline SBFTCT and ∆SBF predicted an increase in VO2 of ≥15% after fluid challenge.
