Incidence of cardiac complications following COVID-19 infection: An umbrella meta-analysis study

•Over 11 types of cardiac complications were reported in COVI-19 patients.•This is a first umbrella review study that reports the summarized data of 26 meta-analysis studies.•Our results confirmed that non-survivors of COVID-19 patients compared to severe and non-severe ones had the most incidence rate of cardiac complication.•The severe patients had a high incidence rate of cardiac complications compared with the non-severe patients.•Having cardiac complications was the main predictor of poor outcomes for COVID-19 patients.
