摘要

•During variant screening of positive SARS-CoV-2 RNA samples we noticed an “atypical” melting profile.•The subsequent WGS denoted as Kappa the variant with the “atypical” melting profile.•RT-Real-Time PCR associated to melting curve analysis may give the possibility of “suspecting” a new SARS-CoV-2 variants.
