摘要

•Repurposed rolapitant (RP)-loaded nanovesicles (LNVs) for lung cancer treatment.•RP-loaded liposomes, ethosomes, and transethosomes were developed and characterized.•In-vivo biodistribution proved high lung deposition with a considerable safety.•RP-LNVs were able to reach the metastatic organs of lung cancer.•RP-LNVs were proven promising as a treatment modality for lung cancer.
