Highly sensitive analysis of cyanogenic glycosides in cold-pressed flaxseed oil by employing cigarette filter fiber-based SPE coupled with ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry

•A simple and highly sensitive UPLC-MS/MS method was developed for determination of four cyanogenic glycosides (CNGs) in cold-pressed flaxseed oil.•The cigarette filter was employed as SPE sorbent for CNGs enrichment.•Four CNGs could be detected in all nine cold-pressed flaxseeds oil.
