The Ultra-Wide Band(UWB)-based indoor sports positioning system is designed to use UWB positioning technology to achieve real-time positioning of athletes in an indoor environment when the GPS signal is weak or even no signal. The indoor sports positioning system uses UWB technology to make up for the shortcomings of GPS that cannot be used indoors, and has the characteristics of high time resolution, strong multipath resistance and strong penetration. Because the existing time of flight (TOF) algorithm has defects such as large errors and instability in indoor positioning applications, this article studies the time of arrival parameters in the TOF algorithm. The ordinary one-way ranging is greatly affected by the clock drift error. By increasing the number of measurements Improve accuracy, that is, two-way ranging (TWR). Different TWR algorithms are deduced and analyzed, and an improved double sided two-way ranging (IDS- TWR) algorithm is proposed. After experimental testing, the error can be controlled within 2 cm, which can meet the requirements for real-time positioning of indoor athletes.
