Enhancing User Interactions by Combining AR Markers with Various Kinds of Markers

This research uses various kinds of markers combining with AR markers to enhance user interactions. Our new AR system consists of three new functions, i.e., multiple markers recognition, hidden markers recognition, and auxiliary markers . As multiple markers recognition, we have integrated various kinds of markers in our new system. Our system can detect and locate their position concurrently. As hidden markers recognition, we have designed button areas on the hidden marker based on natural feature points. When the users cover the button area by their finger, the input events will be triggered. As auxiliary marker, user can get specific or decrypted information by putting auxiliary markers.
