摘要

•Tight Carbonate Rock Samples were acquired from Laki limestone formation in Lower Indus Basin, Pakistan.•Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) treatment were applied for various time intervals (30, 60, and 90 mins).•LN2 fracturing was very effective for the development of tight gas carbonate rocks.•Mineralogical, topographical, rock mechanical and petro-physical properties were discussed before and after LN2 treatment.
