摘要

•A novel Janus structure is constructed by modifying the symmetry of t-PdTe2 to investigate phonon transport properties.•The thermal conductivities of t-PdTe2 and its Janus structures exhibit obvious length and layer number dependence.•A synergy effect of phonon lifetime and phonon group velocity is found in Janus t-Te32PdTe monolayer due to the mass disorder, which suppress the thermal conductivity.
