PlanCurves: An Interface for End-Users to Visualise Multi-Agent Temporal Plans

In operational contexts, there is a growing need to make automatically generated plans available for assessment, verification, and accountability purposes, in order to evaluate the risks associated with such plans prior to their execution. However, this task can be challenging, especially in situations where multiple agents are scheduled to interact and carry out activities over long periods of time. In this paper, we present PlanCurves, a web application for visualising multiagent plans generated by temporal planners, to enhance enduser understanding and interpretation of these plans. We implement a familiar chart visualisation for temporal plans, in combination with a novel layout designed to provide a rapid overview of the plan while highlighting the relative similarities between agents.
