Updates on SpoC

SpoC is a family of lightweight authenticated encryption algorithm and a round 2 candidate of the NIST lightweight cryptography standardization competition [5]. In this article, we report updates on SpoC since its selection as a round 2 candidate. In particular, we report security proof of SpoC mode, new third party cryptanalysis and implementation results. We also highlight the target applications and use-cases of SpoC along with our plans of future tweaks.
