摘要
•We assessed effects of ambient pollutants in a large controlled exposure study.•Increased ambient PM2.5, NO2, and CO were associated with reduced lung function.•Increased ambient ozone (but not controlled ozone) reduced heart rate variability.•These effects reversed with breathing cleaner indoor air during study sessions.
