摘要

•Radiation/chemotherapy caused more QOL and GI symptoms versus chemotherapy; the differences were not clinically meaningful.•Both treatment groups experienced neuropathy, especially in the chemotherapy group.•The differing toxicities of the 2 arms can assist clinicians in counseling patients given the efficacy equivalence.
