Oxymatrine inhibits neuroinflammation by Regulating M1/M2 polarization in N9 microglia through the TLR4/NF-κB pathway

•The ultrastructure of N9 cells was observed by TEM to evaluate the protective effect.•We provide a new theoretical basis for oxymatrine to inhibit neuroinflammation.•Anti-inflammatory effect can be achieved by regulating the polarization of microglia.
