A Phased-array Optoelectronic Detector using Phase-difference Filtering Technology for Incremental Encoder Application.

This paper presents a novel phased-array optoelectronic detection array, wherein the split-phase detectors of four fields are subdivided into multiple different phases which combined in line. The phase difference filtering technique is utilized to improve the sinusoidality of the signal read by the optoelectronic array. Mathematical modeling and simulation analysis have been performed for experimentally verification. The layout of the optoelectronic detection system was completed in X-FAB 0.35 μm process. The simulation results show that the prototype system has good orthogonality for converting photoelectric signals which prove the feasibility of the proposed circuit as well. The spectrum analysis shows that the SNDR of the system is greater than 60 dB with 400k Hz response frequency.
