Energy-Harvesting Relaying in Two-Way AF Beamforming Network.

With the rapid development of wireless technology, more mobile devices are connected to wireless systems, energy consumption becomes an urgent issue to be solved, especially for those devices whose batteries are not easy to be replaced. Energy harvesting (EH) relaying which can simultaneously transfer wireless information and harvest power helps to solve the problem. In this paper, a two-way EH beamforming network with relay nodes is proposed, where the power of the relays is not restricted. Specifically, the relays can gain energy entirely through energy harvesting by using the power splitting method, which makes the optimization of power distribution (PS) factor more complicated and difficult to calculate. To this end, we establish a joint optimization design model of PS factor with the two-way amplify-and-forward (AF) beamforming network, and propose to use the gradient descent algorithm to deal with the non-linear problem. The simulations show that our method can obtain the optimization results efficiently.
