Handheld Controller Device

The present technology may be implemented as a handheld general-purpose user input device having an external chassis defining a plurality of faces and comprising multiple keys, at least one touch screen, a processing unit and a transceiver unit. The device is connectable to a recipient electronic device from the transceiver unit. The multiple keys structured in matrices and the touch screen(s) act as a keyboard input. An inertial unit, a vibration motor, an optical sensor, multiple LEDs may also be included. The inertial unit, optical sensor and the touch surface(s) from the touch screen(s) allow the device to read continue input values from the user motion. The vibration motor, the LEDs and the screen from the touch screen act as output allowing a user to receive direct feedback.
