Luzin’s Problem on Fourier Convergence and Homeomorphisms

We show that for every continuous function f there exists an absolutely continuous circle homeomorphism ϕ such that the Fourier series of f∘ϕ converges uniformly. This resolves a problem posed by N. N. Luzin.
