Next day discharge after the Nuss procedure using intercostal nerve cryoablation, intercostal nerve blocks, and a perioperative ERAS pain protocol

•Intercostal nerve (ICN) cryoablation, ICN bupivacaine nerve blocks and a well-defined perioperative analgesia regimen was successful in discharging patients one day after the Nuss procedure.•Pain control is exceptional with an average pain score of 2/10.•Total inpatient narcotic intake was equivalent to just two 5 mg oxycodone tabs.•No patients experienced neuropathic pain.
