摘要
The rod-shaped Bi2S3 was successfully loaded on the g-C3N4 nanosheets by the hydrothermal method to effectively remove elemental mercury in the flue gas. In this work, the removal performances of elemental mercury (Hg-0) in flue gas were explored in the case of different loading values, reaction temperatures, and different gas components, respectively. Experimental results indicated that the optimal loading value of Bi2S3 to g-C3N4 is 15% (BC-15). In addition, BC-15 had excellent Hg-0 removal efficiency at 120-160 degrees C, which reached more than 80%. The simulated adsorption capacity of BC-15 for Hg-0 under the condition of N-2 + 5% O-2 is 19.15 mg/g, which is superior compared with traditional activated carbon. It was found that BC-15 has good resistance to SO2 and NO. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and temperature-programmed desorption (TPD) analysis confirmed that sulfur had a high binding affinity to Hg-0. Hg-0 was first physically adsorbed on the surface of the adsorbent, and then the adsorbed mercury was combined with sulfur and fixed on the surface of the adsorbent in the form of stable HgS. This study highlights that Bi2S3/g-C3N4 is a promising mercury adsorbent.
